Letter from the President
Hello Tri Delta sisters, alumni, and parents!
My name is Mary Margaret McCarthy and it is my absolute privilege to serve as the 2019 Collegiate Chapter President of the Phi Theta chapter here at Auburn! To tell you a little about me, I am an Auburn University senior majoring in Business Management with a minor in Human Resource Management. I am from Savannah, Georgia and have been an Auburn fan ever since I was a little girl!
I am already in awe of our new officer team and the goals they have set for themselves and our chapter this year. Under their leadership, I have no doubt that Phi Theta will continue to excel in academics, campus involvement, and philanthropic efforts. Each of our members bring something unique and special to the Chapter, and we are all united by our “steadfast love for one another.”
Phi Theta has brought me countless memories and friendships. I would not be the person that I am today if it weren’t for my sisters that pushed me to be the best that I could be. I am so incredibly excited to meet every potential new member that walks through our chapter room doors in the fall, and I cannot wait to show you all what Tri Delta means to me. This chapter is truly one of a kind.
David Housel says these words in a description of Auburn University, “Unless you have experienced it, you will never know what it is; you will never understand it. Once you have experienced it, you will never be the same.” I feel as if this rings true to our sisterhood within Tri Delta. It is one that is hard to come by, but it is one that will never be forgotten.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve my sisters as their President. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!
Delta Love and War Eagle,
Mary Margaret McCarthy
